Husqvarna once again raises the bar by announcing an increase in what is already the largest manufacturer's contingency payout available in the AMA Supermoto Championship Series. The available cash payout is now $354,900! Husqvarna has increased payouts in first- through third-place finishes and expanded contingency to include the 250cc class. That is an increase of more than 61 percent from 2004. Any Husqvarna rider who enters on a 2004 or newer model Husqvarna and competes in the 2005 AMA Supermoto Championship Series is eligible for contingency. The total available payout is $16,900 per event in the Unlimited, 450cc, and 250cc classes, with a series championship bonus of $5000 per class. When combined with Husqvarna's existing contingency program for other Supermoto series, there is over $471,000 up for grabs this supermoto season, along with over $11 million in contingency available for motocross and off-road. With this bold program, Husqvarna proudly reaffirms its commitment to racers across North America.
