Post subject: Does AMA Supermoto have what it takes?

Ok so Supermoto all but disappeared from the US until last year. The AMA is bringing it back. Have you seen any of the races on TV? IMO, it's seriously lacking when compared to the FIM Championship Supermoto series. You can catch this on TV also.
Don't get me wrong, it's very cool that it's making its was back to the US. However, it just seems too cheesy. The dirt sections are lame and the "urban cross" jumps just don't do it for me.
It's true we don't currently have the venues or exposure to do it right, but you think what they are doing will have staying power? |
