For the last year and a half, I have been interested in the Kawasaki KLX250, It was not available in California in 2006. It was also not sold in 2007. I am now being told that it will not be available in 2008! But yet it is available in all 49 other states. I contacted Kawasaki direct and they basically will not discuss it. One camp say's it's because it won't pass smog. Another camp say's that's not true and it is a political issue. Several of the dealers I have talked to said that they could sell every one they could get, but they can't get any. I am very frustrated by this and just curious if anyone knows what's really going on with this bike.
