 REKLUSE WINS TITLES BOISE, ID - (October 22, 2008) - Rekluse riders Maria Forsberg (right) and Sherri Cruse claimed the top two spots in the AA/Pro Women's class for the 2008 WORCS campaign. The year-long tussle between these two great competitors ended with Forsberg claiming her 2nd consecutive title, this time by a scant 23 points. In Women's A action, Nicole Madsen won at her hometown Honolulu Hills track in Taft, CA, to take the series title. Meanwhile, in OMA action Rekluse ATV rider Bryan Hulsey won the Pro ATV class. Hulsey grabbed the top spot on the podium three times en route to the title. "I will keep up on my training and come out next year to defend my title for 2009," quipped Hulsey after the 2008 season finale in Morrison, IL.

 GNCC ATV XC2 CHAMPIONSHIP! NEW BERLIN, NY - (September 28, 2008) - Rekluse ATV rider Donald Ockerman clinched the GNCC ATV XC2 title here today at the Unadilla GNCC. Not only did Ockerman claim the championship but he did so in style, grabbing the Rekluse Holeshot Award and going on to win the battle as well as the war. Ockerman finished 6th overall on the day, and nabbed his 8th XC2 victory of the 2008 season. "It feels good to do it," said Ockerman. "I don't know what I'm going to do next, though. I had a chance to run with some of the pros today, but those guys, they're crazy."
In XC1 action, Bryan Cook secured his 5th podium of the year. His 3rd place finish puts him 3rd overall for the year, just 5 points out of 2nd place. Congratulations to all of our GNCC ATV racers!

 REKLUSE WINS MONTREAL SUPERCROSS MONTREAL, CANADA (September 22, 2008) - Team Suzuki Rockstar Energy OTSFF's Tyler Medaglia rose head and shoulders above the competition in the MX2 final at the Montreal Supercross on Saturday to take his second consecutive win of the event in front of some 45,000 rabid race fans.
The Kemptville, ON native, who recorded the fastest practice time on the demanding Olympic Stadium track, took command of the race on the first lap and never looked back. Medaglia was never threatened for position and by the time the ten laps were over he had placed his RM-Z250 a solid 21 seconds ahead of second place finisher Simon Homans.
"It was an awesome feeling repeating as MX2 winner but I had hoped to grab the MX1 as well. That would really have been a weekend to remember,” said Medaglia. “It's unfortunate I got a lousy start in the MX1 main, because I really felt confident I had a good shot at winning that too. But all in all it was a good supercross for me, a great ending to the Canadian pro season." more ... |
