ARIZONA – Comment Period for Coronado NF Draft FLRMP & DEIS Extended Through March 6

The Coronado National Forest (Forest Service) has prepared a Draft Forest Land and Resource Management Plan (FLRMP) and Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for Revision of the FLRMP (DEIS). The final land management plan will replace the current plan, written in 1986, and provide guidance for managing 1,783,639 acres of National Forest System lands for the next 10 to 15 years.

The 90-day public review and comment period, which began on November 23, 2013, has been extended an additional 14 days, ending on March 6, 2014. This comment period is not related to the Rosemont Copper Project.  Interested parties may submit comments to the following:
